2. Machine side ring storage system
In order to achieve efficient loading and unloading in the production unit, a robotic arm will be set up next to the machine tool to quickly load and unload, but the larger the machine tool equipment, the larger the large robotic arm picking equipment, and the larger the arm loading and unloading activity space. Therefore, PMC has developed a "machine-side ring storage system" with high storage density and high information technology for the space configuration of medium and large machine tool equipment.
►System features
1. It has a machine-side integrated three-dimensional warehouse structure to improve space utilization.
2. Automate the execution of inbound and outbound orders, quickly and accurately control the handling of goods by warehousing equipment.
3. The computer records actions in real time to accurately control the status of the workpiece for inventory management and data processing.
4. Schedule control material loading and unloading to perform processing, and automate material production.
►System architecture
The structure of the machine-side ring storage system is divided into three parts: "pallet pick-up mechanism", "machine-side ring material rack" and "machine-side storage control system".
A. Tray pick-up mechanism
• PLC receives control commands to automatically access materials.
•Design the pick-up method according to the actual material.
B. Circular material rack on the side of the machine
•Planning according to actual space and material size.
C. Machine-side warehouse control system
•Manage material entry and exit commands through the computer operation interface.
•The screen can view the status and history of each slot.
•Dispatch function can arrange subsequent automated production work.
•By connecting with the upper-level computer, material information can be read and material status can be returned.

3. Automatic tool change power turret module
At present, general turning-milling machines in China are equipped with servo-powered turrets, but commercially available power turrets do not have the function of automatically loosening the tool holders. Therefore, PMC has developed a tool holder module that can perform fast and automatic tool change for the power turret of the turn-mill machine.
►Mod features
In order to improve the tool change operation time of the turning-milling machine, PMC has developed an automatic tool change power turret module, which can be highly integrated with the tools of the tool storage system, so that the tools used for machining are not limited to the tools at the turret end, and can reduce the time of personnel tool changes.
►Design architecture
The automatic tool change power turret module mainly uses the "loose broach brake mechanism" to quickly start the loose knife and broach action, and the "loose broach mechanism" is designed in the tool holder with the general power turret drive mode.
A. Loose broach brake mechanism
•Highly integrated with the automatic tool change mechanism of the power turret, the broach brake mechanism is developed, and the cutting power spindle is used to control the broach action.
B. Loose broach mechanism
•The screw and spring loose broach mechanism developed for the tool holder design can greatly reduce the size of the tool holder without the need for a hydraulic device.
